Raccoons are capable of ripping shingles off and chewing holes in buildings. Rats and mice in the attic. Or you can check for muddy footprints. One of the most common critters to find in your home throughout the winter months are bats.

Bats enjoy making their roost in places higher up such as attics. Birds and bats require very specific and unique removal tactics. Raccoons can enter your attic through loose shingles and or openings the roof and eaves. You can also look at the animal tracks left in the dust in the attic.

The roof rat is more common in warm areas and more likely to enter the attic. As the temperature continues to drop these animals tend to make their way into our homes or businesses for warmth and shelter.
