The lift link adjustment will raise the left front side of the mower with the clockwise motion. Turn the height adjustment knob clockwise in order to raise the cutting height of the mower deck. Turn the adjustment nut clockwise to raise the front of the mower or counter clockwise to lower it until it is 1 8 inch higher than. Craftsman suggests cutting lawns to 2 1 2 inches in the colder seasons and to just over 3 inches in the summer months.

Pick up the wrench and put it on the nut. The craftsman owner s manual recommends cutting grass at a height of 3 inches or above during the warm season and 2 1 2 inches. It also features an adjustable cutting height from 1 1 2 to 4 inches. Repeat this on the right front side with the same number of counts completed on the left front side.
